A Trans-U (possibly Trans Universal, from the context in which the word was used).
What is the name of the drunk Mal started a fight with in the beginning of The Train Job?

His name was Lund.
If we do meet the real Wash in War Stories, what is the line that proves that point?

Quote:I'd say it's "No! No! Run!" when he sees Zoe enter Niska's torture chamber, but surely that's a matter of opinion. Perhaps not entirely suitable as a trivia question...?

Easy one for a Sunday: why won't Jayne let Simon get his medkit in Out of Gas?

I don't disagree on any particular point.

"No! No! Run!"
It is a matter of opinion, but there's much better quote that that once they reach the shuttle. Remember: The REAL Wash...
Because if they open that door, they all die.

I believe Wash's line is "Bastard's not gonna get days."
How many times in the series do we see an Alliance Sonic Rifle being fired?

I don't disagree on any particular point.
Because if he lets Simon out "We all die." Cuz of the fire.
Hmmm.....Really hard one for those who haven't seen the "Shindig" commentary: What did the sign in the bar originally say in Chinese before they went back to change it? (The "Ball Malfunction" sign.)

Can't stop the signal!
"No, Cap'n, I think it's shiny!"
"Yeah, but she's our witch, so cut her the hell down."
"Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take a boat in the air you don't love, she'll shake you off as sure as the turning of worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughtta fall down, tells ya she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home."

Well, Cappy was on Buffy as Caleb the evil preacher, and Zoe was on Angel as Jasmine, the evil goddess.
What kind of engine core does Serenity have?
Just being picky, Jayne also played as Hamilton on Angel, last half of 5th season

About the sonic rifle: I'm thinking 3. Once by a federal at Jayne in Ariel, once by Jayne at the door, and once by Mal at a fed he took it from in Trash.
The Chinese sign, no clue.
What's the source on the bit about Shadow being rendered uninhabitable during the war? I've never heard that, and it seems pretty important for Mal's character.

I believe that the sign in "Shindig" originally said, "Not responsible for mechanical failure," or something like that.
The only official source I've been able to find regarding Shadow's destruction is in Joss' Memo "A Brief History of the Universe, circa 2507 A.D." found in the Visual Companion. In it he says that five years into the war, Mal's homeplanet was "destroyed."
My question: On what day of the week did the trade station heist on Lilac (in the BDM) take place?

Sunday, cuz they hit town during Sunday worship, so there wouldn't be any crowds.
And also, to the question of what characters our BDH played on Joss's other shows, Summer played the Prima Ballerina in ep 3.13 of Angel, "Waiting in the Wings".
Throughout the series, how many times do we see Kaylee in a dress? Bonus points for naming the episodes.
"We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land'."
