So, as a newbie fic writer I am always trying to improve. My writing style, my flow, my characterizations..etc.
I wanted to know if any of you other fic writers would be interested in having an author chat, where we could discuss our methods and proceedures etc.
I think it would be a great opportunity to learn from each other.
What say you guys?

Well I think about a week is sufficent...maybe next weekend...what times are good for ppl...make sure to include time zone...I'm available most any time.

I'd be interested! My first fanfic is in beta right now, and I'm hoping I'll get a bit posted this week so I can share before the discussions begin. A week from now should be good.

I don't know much about chatting, I was never much of a web poster until the FF madness took me. So let me know when/where/how!

Count me in.

Have had a few goes at starting some fanfic, but nailing that Firefly style is tricksy, particularly the dialect. It's all too easy to get sucked into a morass of 'gorrams' and 'shinys'!

The Serenity novelisation got it spot-on, IMO.

hey gypsy!
i haven't written any fic yet, but i have ideas bumping around in my head and always love to help people with their fics (as you already know) :P i think i'm a pretty good writer too, what with the poetry and the imagery, and i have written some stories, just not fan fic. :P mind if i tag along? washie can vouch for me! i'm sure!! (hint to ItsaWash: hey girl, this is where u vouch for me!!! lol! :P)
