Hello everyone, I'm new here so I hope I'm doing this correctly.

I've been vidding for a couple of years now - mainly Angel and BTVS, with a little Stargate thrown in on the side. Recently I have become a fan of Firefly and my first thought was "wow, I have to vid this show." Play Dead is the first in a trilogy of Firefly vids, and is from River's POV as she attempts to block out the horror of what she has gone through.

LittleHeaven that was really cool, i liked it and how it described so many things with river in a relativly short vid, including how frightened and tortured she is with also how incredibly brilliant she is. I also like the choice of music. Overall good job i liked it :smile

Thought and action when harmonized free each from the other.

Just watched 'Play Dead' and I'll have to say that was some really professional video editing you had going on there! Most impressive! Would love to know what software you are using.

Thank you very much!

I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio for my editing. It's an excellent programme and not that expensive. User-friendly, too. You can pretty much work out what you're doing without too much reference to the tutorials. Requires quite a bit of grunt on behalf of your computer if you're using uncompressed files though (I vid with raw vob files to get the best quality finished product).
