You do understand that this is TODAY's top sellers, not the top sellers of all time, right?
In other words, the Firefly DVD set is the number 2 seller of July 23, 2003, not the number 2 best selling DVD Amazon has ever sold...

I don't believe 
fox will be feeling very dumb about all the money they will make from the sale of DVDs of Firefly. They still own the rights to it, yes? Same reason I wouldn't like Firefly to go to 
TNN, the fox of the cable networks.

20th Century Fox is different from Fox TV network. I'm not sure which ones would own the rights in this case.

FYI, folks, got an email from Garth Franklin, who runs http://www.darkhorizons.com/news.htm Down Under. He described the news of Firefly's Amazon availability and rating as "cool." To prove it, the item is up on Dark Horizons in today's news (admittedly a small snippet, but there's another source of info for future fans...not to mention a link to FFF as a bonus!)!

Actually, I'd sent almost the exact same email to AICN, Cinescape, and TheDigitalBits. Dark Horizons was the only one to respond, and run the bit. Please, however, do feel free to send the news to anyone you see fit. Perhaps getting more than one e-mail on this topic will cajole Harry (who is probably up to his ears in "tips") into running it on AICN. Why not give it a go?
