Are you absolutely 100% sure?

I don't think that's the actual cover. The 'coming soon' makes me think that it's not the actual cover. Just a promo thing.

That's the International cover, everywhere except Region 1 is getting that cover I believe.

And if you would all be so kind as to pull out your R1 DVDs you will notice that the head on River on the R1 cover is exactly the same as the head on the posing River on the R2 cover. Summers face has been altered to make it more V like and her lips have also been enhanced. Im pretty sure that’s a body double on the R1 and R2 covers.

They've recoloured her eyes on the R1 cover, I believe they've left at least that alone for the International versions.

Nevermind though, the inevitable "Browncoat" edition will hopefully use the American film poster as the cover, or just the logo

Im pretty sure they airbrushed out her back jaw line. Im sure the add men had a fine psychological reasons for doing this. Some kind well thought out emotional anchor? Women with V shaped faces spell excitement?

It annoys the hell out of me anyway. It’s a damn odd thing to do.

Im no fan of that cover eider, it’s exactly the same head so my criticism on the R2 cover applies to that to.

Actually, I've looked more closely at that because everyone had griped about her eyes being blue on the cover...however when I did look more closey, I noticed that the planet beneath her head was blue (I guess that's Blue Sun?) and that only the bottom of her eyes are colored blue and that the arc of the color bends downward...as if her eyes are reflecting the blue planet.
