Maybe this is a sign that Universal has realized the fanbase, NAY the profit value of the Serenity movie.

It is good news, but I'm hoping that Universal releases some of their movies (inc Serenity) on Blu-Ray too, as that will be my format of choice (getting a PS3 the second it comes out).

Unlikely, as universal is firmly in the HD-DVD camp, just as Fox is firmly in the Blue-ray camp.
