I'm active duty enlisted. It's been a pretty good ride, actually. I've been a programmer for statistical analysis programs, ASVAB development, virtual reality, I've been an instructor, and now I'm maintaining Oracle systems. I do look forward to being able to retire, though :)

I'm a mild mannered secretary/bookkeeper for a welding shop by day and a writer by night. As you may notice from my signature, I just got my very first book published and never miss an opportunity to shamelessly self-promote, in hopes that writing may become my full time career.
My actual full time job isn't that bad. It's good money. It's just boring and I have to get up early. 
Also it's difficult to find time to write when you already work full time. But anyway, it works for now.
