Yeah, I do a lot of the favorites stuff, I know. Anyways, I thought it would be interesting to see everyone pick a fave ep of their favorite shows.

Let's start with the obvious Firefly:

Out of Gas: just a beautifully put together and heart warming episode.
Runner up: Objects in Space, for the same reasons as above.

Inuyasha
Inuyasha's First Tears (I think that's the title): brings home just how much Inuyasha cares for Kagome and the others. A very emotionally impacting episode.
Runner up: Koga's first ep, of which I can't recall the name, because I love Koga

Simpsons
This is a big toughie and involved lots of thinking, but I'm gonna have to go with:
Bart Sells His Soul: I love the whole quest for the soul and the dream world of the soul, and the ending especially.
Runner up: Homer the Great (Stonecutter ep) I still don't know why I love this one, I just do.

Futurama
Also tough.
Pilot Episode (can't remember name): I just really like this episode because Fry is brought to the future and first meets Leela and Bender and deals with this whole new place.
Runner up: Jurassic Bark. This would be my number one if it wasn't so sad that I can't watch the whole thing over again.

Family Guy
The ep where Peter thinks he's a woman, for two reasons:
1. The look on Stewie's face when he realizes it's Peter, not Lois. Never seen such genius comedic timing in an animated show.
2. What makes Peter a "man" again is a full-blown cat fight. What a guy thing. Hehe.
Runnerup: Road to Rhode Island. Full of so many classic Stewie/Brian moments.

Buffy/Angel: Having thought about this, I decided I can't really pick my favorite eps of these because I haven't finished watching all the seasons yet. However, honorable mentions go to: Surprise/Innocence, Grad. Day 1 & 2, Becoming 1 & 2, Hush, Restless, I Will Remember You, and Hero.

Wonderfalls -Love-sick Ass - that kid freaks me out, sooooo creepy, and Jaye and Eric snog! how cute is that! even if that kid is setting his car on fire while they're at it...

Buffy - Hush (thats the one with the floating creepies and why is it all quiet in here malarky int it? yeah that one)

Carnivale - Babylon and Pick a Number (two parter) -why is it the ones that freak me out are the ones that I love?

Red Dwarf - Holovirus - or whatever its called - the one with Rimmer in red gingham and Mr Flibble.

Sharpe - Honour - just for the pure silly pleasure of watching Sean Bean fend off a bunch of nuns by swinging a chicken wildly around his head.

Firefly - Out of Gas -initially the freaking out is going on, by the end its just the warm and fuzzies all the way to the tips of my toes.

I do love these licences to go on and on

OK, I'll bite. I've got a few episodes of a few shows that I love. So here goes.

Firefly:
Out of Gas: For the same reasons Queeny said. So heartwarming!
Trash: Well, for the obvious...Mal's posterior! DUH!

Star Trek TNG (yeah yeah, I liked it):
Genesis: Because I liked watching the crew de-evolve
A Fistfull of Datas: I just love Brent Spiner, and this showcased his versatility.

Star Trek (original)
Mirror, Mirror: Spock with a goatee...'nuff said.
Trouble with Tribbles: Well, cuz of the Tribbles!!

CSI:
Grave Danger: Where they have to find Nick who has been buried alive...damn I cried through that one. It's also directed by Quentin Tarantino
Lady Heather's Box: Cuz Gil gets his groove on with Lady Heather...who happens to be Melinda Clarke who you all know better as Nandi from Heart of Gold.

X-Files:
Existence: Well cuz Adam Baldwin guest stars!
And any episode with the Lone Gunmen: They are a riot

Simpsons:
The Mysterious Voyage of Homer: Where he eats too many hot peppers and has an interesting trip! Guest starring Johnny Cash as his spiritual guide on his journey to find his soulmate.
Bart Sells his Soul: Also like the quest for the soul thing!

Family Guy:
Petarded: Where Peter comes to realize that he's legally retarded, so he does st00pid things and gets away with it using his retardation as an excuse. Hell, I love it for his one line when he's at a fast food joint and takes over the microphone at the front counter and says: Attention restaurant customers: TESTICLES. That is all. I die laughing every time.
North by North Quahog: simply for the beginning of the show when Peter lists all of the shows that Fox had put on the air, and then in turned cancelled (I've got the list in another thread). That's Seth McFarlane giving Fox the . I love it!

Ok, I think that about does it for me. I'll prolly come up with more later as more of you post on tv that you watched and it'll jog my memory.

Ha, Psolaris, I knew you had good taste! You like Bart Sells His Soul too!

Oh, and Chronic, thanks for reminding me about Veronica Mars! I totally forgot that one. Trip to the Dentist is also my favorite ep, ironically.

All right I'll try:

Futurama: Jurrasic Bark (I love the protest dance)
A Clone Of My Own (the genius' wiener part)

Really there is much more that I watch. I'm pretty much a reader now a days.
