this is not a gratuitous bump, move along.

You know, I'm thinking this will be on the eventual 'browncoat edition' of the Serenity DVD that we're all hoping for.

True, but then... the outtakes that did make the DVD included some pretty salty language too -- the 'F' word, even. I don't remember anything that would be much more objectionable than that, including Alan's little exposition on his intentions toward Gina

yeah but Doncoat I saw the uncut reel at the flan and it is DEFINITELY NC-17...lol.. it wasn;t the language... it was Wash decribing in grand style what he was gonna do to his wife when he got off the bridge... it was HI larious and quite blue

Thanks for the bumping on this.

I think they'll eventually release an extended dvd with the extra goodies, so I'm not being too impatient. YET!
Of course, a blooper reel release on dvd would go over well, I think, and be a bonus to Universal. YES, we are FANS! And it feels gooooooooooooooooood!

I wonder if they'd have to give it a rating if it was just a download?

But yes, it is inevitable that they release an extended edition. And a 10 yr anniversary edition. And a just-because-we-know-you-don't-have-this-edition edition. Distributers do tend to milk things a little...

But I am inpatient, and tired of my computer having a heart attact when I try to play anything in quicktime.

So I'm bumping this till Haken gets back to me. (or, er, I realise that my message has gone straight in the email bin or is lost under a pile of dirty webcam invites in his junk box. then I promise i'll give it a rest)

I still can't see the extended gag reel being on any DVD release.
