Its obvious right, Jimmy Buffett and the Beach Boys,

Barring that, I think he might be an operah guy. I can picture him sitting at his chair singing along with Luciano Paveratti. Maybe its just me though.

Jimmy Buffet was the first thing that popped into my mind. and i could see him singing to Paveratti. although i'm picturing him having fun with singing to it rather than being something he deeply enjoys.

i could also picture him listening to some fun stuff like Gogol Bordello or Flogging Molly.

oh of course, sitting in the chair making large hand motions while belting out a song.

In THE SERENITY GIG as well as BLUE HAND BLUES, I allude to Wash's speculative musical tastes. I always thought he'd be into a lot of classic rock (The Beatles, The Stones, The Who, Pink Floyd, The Band, Led Zeppelin, you name it), but he'd also dig Tenacious D, Barenaked Ladies and any bands that have a sense of humor to their songs.

And ironically, he's be more into dance floor songs than Zoe, even though like all white guys, he cannot dance.

Everyone's suggestions have been "right on" I was thinking of just about everything everyone came up with. Well I am throwing in a few tonight, but Friday all day...and maybe into the early evening will officially be "WASH DAY" tune in!

I think Wash is a parrot head...but then again...

Tenacious D - Friendship

"Friendship is rare,
Do you know what I'm sayin' to you?
Friendship is rare.
My derriere,
When you find out much later
That they don't really care.
It's rare to me, can't you see?
It's rare to me, can't you see?

Oh shit there's a bear,
Could you hand me that shotgun buddy,
Also that chair?
We're fighting a bear
Now your life's in grave danger
And you don't even care.
It's rare to me, can't you see?
It's rare to me, can't you see?
It's rare to me,
Say a prayer for me,
'Cause it's rare to be
In Tenacious D.

Friends will be friends
They're running naked in the sand,
Friends holding hands
Will someday surely form a band,
Friends will be friends
They say that friends are friends
To the bitter end.
Long-as-there's-a-record-deal-we'll-always-be-friends!
Long-as-there's-a-record-deal-we'll-always-be-friends!

Friends will be friends
They're running naked in the sand,
Friends holding hands
Will someday surely form a band,
Friends will be friends
They say that friends are friends
To the bitter end.
Long-as-there's-a-record-deal-we'll-always-be-friends!
Long as there's a record deal we'll always be friends, yeah"

I was going to go with Beach Boys, but I've been thinking on this long and hard- man like Wash with a wife like the good Zoe would have to listen to whatever she likes. So I'm gonna go with something more classical maybe Beethoven or Wagner at a push

Kenny Loggins "Highway to the danger zone"

tenacious D! kenny loggins! weird al! i can see him listening to all of these things. something witty and funny and weird.
for my own wish fulfillment, i'd say that he listened to Queens of the Stone Age, but that's just because i love them so.
i'd have to say tenacious D and maybe something kinda mushy. like whatever "sensitive boys" listen to, because wash is a sensitive boy.

dude, i didn't know that that top gun song was kenny loggins. but now it all makes so much sense.

That was back in the 80s when it was ok to think Tom Cruise was hot and Kenny Loggins was cool.

LOL regarding Wash as a sensitive boy...I was seeing him sing to Chicago's "If you leave me now" but wasn't certain if Chicago would be melodramatic enough for him. I had forgotten about his "sensitive" side, so Chicago and perhaps the Bee Gees would be appropriate as well.

nice cover fire
Oh, and I also have a black belt in Smackdown Fu
