The problem is...the story never really went anywhere. Every episode was virtually unconnected to every other episode. We never learned anything new about the aliens.
Even Surface, which started out much worse than Threshold, has been more entertaining as a series. People on this board love to bash Fox, but CBS knows nothing about gearing shows to our crowd.

You forgot about Dar Skies, that also showed the conspiracy from the inside.

Of course, the suits don't take into account that the bad ratings that killed it were on its first night on a new day, in a new timeslot, the week of Thanksgiving, opposite an awards show. Dammit.
Hopefully the eventual DVD release will have the unaired episodes (they've aired 8 so far, but the network bought 13 in total, though there's no telling how many were in the can by the time production ceased).

Yeah, my wife and I were bummed out all weekend. Cork-sucking bastiges!

Counting the pilot as two episodes and according to the episode numbering, they aired nine episodes. Only thirteen were made, so there are four unaired: The Crossing, Escalation, Vigilante, and Alienville. I really, really hope a DVD set comes out!
As to the talk of what was to come, we watched the 'scenes from next week' footage, and you can see Molly is strapping in Lucas. Not saying he's the one who turns, just that they tie him up. Personally, I thought it'd be cooler if Cavanaugh was the one who turned. They'd have a heck of a time stopping him!

So is Threshold officially cancelled? I had watched it from the beginning on Friday nights, then I noticed they suddenly moved it to Tuesday, however when I went to watch it that Tuesday, it was pre-empted by something else (dunno if it was pre-empted everywhere, but it was here). I've been trying to keep an eye out for it, but haven't seen proof of it being anywhere.
It's a pity if the show is cancelled. I really loved Brent Spiner (I think he's excellent in anything!) and Peter Dinklage was wonderful! He reminds me of a small George Clooney, his vocal inflections, his body movements, his reactions to things. He's like George's mini me.

In the UK, the episode that aired tonight was 'Revelations', which is the one with the church. Next week, it's not on so it looks like that's all we're getting on this side of the pond. Maybe another network will pick the show up, or maybe they'll pull a Whedon and do a trilogy of movies (Threshold, Foothold and Stranglehold).

What I just read the other day is that CBS has NOT officially cancelled it yet, but for all intensive purposes, it is gone.
Yeah, I'd like to see more of the story too...

Seems like Sky in the UK will be airing four more episodes than we got. "The Crossing", "Escalation", "Vigilante", and "Alienville" (possibly on the last one- some sources say it did not finish production). So, anyone over the pond feel like recording it???
