OMG, I just realized something....about Wash *Spoilers, if we must still say it*

I took the FF character test, and I'm Wash, so that might give me some perspective.
Writers tend to play toward thier darker predelections, and in a story, I, personally, would be inclined to sacrifice myself in service to the tale (life).
Which leads me to believe that in killing Wash, Joss killed a part of himself in there, too.
Any who believe that's an easy choice on the part of a creator can go rent Star Trek 3, as heartfelt as it is, it's still revisionist junk.
Joss chose a hard, but truthful path, as he did with Joyce in Buffy.
Just another observation.

i was zoe in my character test, so i've got no insight on this one. but it's really interesting, nonetheless.

I always come out as Inara, which is disturbing in so many ways....
but I definitely think that Wash was Joss' alter ego, and killing him off was a sacrifice he only made because he knew it would be all or nothing at all in the BDM

Thanks, and you weren't far off. I'm 70% Simon and 65% Book, apparently. Then Mal, Zoe and Kaylee tie at 60%. I figured I come out Kaylee or Simon.
