CBY, has the DVD been released in Germany yet? I know that it has not in the UK, for some of our beloved UK Browncoats has mentioned as much. So hopefully that will pick those numbers back up? Also, (and I hope this does not sound like a stupid question) does Amazon.com track worldwide numbers, or is there an Amazon site for each individual country? I don't use the website much...so forgive me if that's an idiotic question.

Look at it this way, it took Wedding Crashers a few days to take away the #1 spot and Serenity is still at #2 with Firefly at #3 against every other blockbuster that came out this year. We're still doing pretty damn good and I think it will continue for a while yet.

I would also love to find out the DVD sales #'s for Serenity,though I would not be that discouraged by Wedding Crashers overtaking it..Serenity and Firefly are still holding at #2 and #3 ahead of some big Titles...Serenity held #1 for nine days during amazon's biggest sales month of the year!!No movie has held the top spot forever..A lot of us gave these out as gifts..Now we need those people to spread the word!!
We need to remember this is a Movie of a cancelled tv show with no big stars..Serenity is selling better then most would have suspected ,it does not have to beat all the other DVD's out there...We need to know how many DVD's have been sold to know how much money Serenity has made..
I would like us to take the #1 spot again though!

Wedding Crashers Uncorked Widescreen preorder is beating Serenity Widescreen. (Wedding Crashers Uncorked Fullscreen preorder is at 14, Serenity Fullscreen isn't on the list.)
To repeat we are being beaten by a double-dipped DVD that isn't even out yet.
I know we are doing better than any logical person could expect, but I still find that discouraging.

My guess is it'll be released sometime arround May/June but I'll try to import an UK copy as soon as possible.
Amazon itself is country based, currently the Firefly box set is at #109 at www.amazon.de (Germany). That is fairly good since it has never been never shown on tv. Also we rather buy things in a real store and pay cash. It's our way
