I just got the Firefly DVDs, watched the entire series in the last 2 days and am about to buy BDM. Wow, totally kicked my butt. I was glued to my TV.
All i can say is i'm extremely disappointed, this series is finally getting some legs and a huge buzz going on about it...and ole Joss is gonna go do Wonder Woman.
Joss is an old Chinese word for Karma (i believe it is Chinese anyways, got it from Clavell). If there is any Karma coming for this great cast and series, some smart exec will realize the current need for good television...especially some excellent Sci-Fi and pick this up and make some more good television.

Hi Slay, welcome to our home! I've noticed that you just hopped on board today. Hope to see ya around the 'verse for a while.
They're right, however, in that this has been debunked so to speak. Whedon himself got on whedonesque.com and said that a lot of what he said to EW was taken out of context. I've found a few threads that you can read through in which we've already discussed this subject before. So please forgive anyone that gets touchy about the subject..heh. So enjoy the read and make your own opinions on the future of the show. Some think we'll only get another film, some think we're done, and some think we'll get a new series. Personally I'd love a new series, however I'll be happy with another film. Don't count us out too quickly...Keep an eye on DVD sales before ya give up too much hope.

I think the date on the EW webpage is just the date of today and not connected to the actual articles.
You can go on every page there - the date stays the same

Thanks for the links guys, i guess there is some hope yet. I'm not here to start crap, I just want more Firefly and I thought Ironically that 1 day after i watched the entire series that ole Joss decided he would call it quits. Would figure!
