Well I went to Bestbuy and bought the DVD and UMD, because I got tired of waiting for Amazon.com to send me my preordered copy. So...now i have 2 copies and one Serenity on the go. ^^

(although I have to take it back, it's got flaws-it sticks on a couple scenes. Also, I unknowingly grabbed the full screen, so I'll have to get the wide this time)
By the way, I had to pay $19.98, not 17, bought it at Wal*art. Anybody else pay that much? At least it ups our total :)

It gets even better...as I was explaining to her that the movie was from a show called Firefly and a whole society of us want to bring the show back, she actually says, "Oh, yeah, I remember that being on. I watched a few episodes and liked it." WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Now granted I haven't been living with my parents for the past 12 years now, and I've said before that I was unfortunate enough to have missed any advertisements. But I was shocked that she watched the show and didn't even bother telling me about it then. She normally tells me everything! Just for that, I'm gonna go out and buy her the DVD series when I buy mine!!
