Hi there!

I'm sorry I haven't spent more time on this thread; my dogtags threads have been spinning out of control on the Browncoats board and I've been struggling to stay afloat! Haven't even been able to work on my fanfic:(

I am eagerly anticipating the arrival of the new run of Serenity tags and the first run of Mal tags.

I've been getting a lot of design requests; here's what's in the immediate future:

1) A simple design with the Serenity pinyin (Chinese symbols) on one side and the word Serenity in movie logo font on the other.

2) A design based on River's quote "Class code: 03-K64, midbulk transport. Standard radion accelerator core. Firefly."

3) A pair of genuine stamped military dogtags with Independent army and Mal text.

After those are done, a Wash design!

As far as custom orders for personalized tags, I'll have to ask the guy who makes these for me. I have to order in runs of a minimum of 10, and get a substantial discount for doing so. Tags like these usually retail for 25-40 dollars but I'm thinking that if I ordered personalized tags at the same time as I order a quantity I might be able to get you a reasonable price???

Yes, I am US based, and yes, I ship internationally. The price includes free domestic and international shipping.

I can do Kaylee after Wash....I think I'll end up having at least one made for each member of the crew, just a matter of when and in what order:) I love Kaylee:)

Hey everyone!

I have a nice big handful of updates on dogtags. These have proven to be insanely popular, and it's been a struggle just to fill pre-orders!

Currently, I have a good number of stamped military-style dogtags in stock, and a handful of the Mal design. They can be ordered at www.serenityverse.com/shop .

Designs I currently have available for pre-order are a design with just the serenity pinyin on both sides, one with pinyin on one side and the word Serenity on the other, one the makes use of River's "Class code 03-K64" quote, and the original Serenity/ship/logo/pinyin design.

In development are a Browncoats design, a Wash design, and a set of the stamped military dogtags for Zoe.

Once those are designed and ordered, I'll work on the other most requested crew members; Kaylee, River, and Jayne.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you guys on the personalizing thing; my supplier went on vacation and we had some communication issues. I can order individual personalized dogtags at a reasonable price provided I order them at the same time as one of my quantity runs; so if you are willing to wait a bit to get them, personalizing is possible.

Personalized tags would be 17.00. I will make these an option in my shop soon, along with specs for what sort of file to send me.

NEW: Military-style Zoe/browncoats dogtags are in stock and available in my store. I'm also taking pre-orders for the recently designed Wash, Browncoats rise again, and Browncoats "still not convinced it was the wrong one" dogtags. A Book dogtag will be availiable for pre-order shortly as well.

Would it be possible to get any of these designs made (three total dogtags) and have them arrive by the 29th? I was kind of wanting something special to bring to the FX Show. I was thinking maybe it'd even be nice to give one each to Summer Glau and Alan Tudyk - they're going to be there, and I keep thinking it'd be nice to bring a gift, to show my appreciation, and this would be nice, I think!

PS: I live in Florida.

I'm thinking that'll depend on the design. There are several I'm expecting stock to arrive for in the next couple of days, which should reach you in time.

The ones I just ordered probably won't be here in my hands for at least a week, so I would kind of doubt they could be there in time.

The ones that could make it:

Military tags, both styles
Mal
Serenity ship and logo
Class code 03-K64
Pinyin/Pinyin
Serenity Pinyin

Ones that won't make it, barring a postal miracle:

Wash
Book
Both Browncoats designs

I think these would make a wonderful gift for the cast members. I'm sending some to Nathan in the Operation Browncoat birthday package, and as I make designs for the other cast members I'd like to get them into their hands:)
