Three cheers for Canada's SPACE! After months of writing them asking them to air Firefly, now here is the proof that writing letters and e-mail are worthwhile. Most shiny news indeed!

WOO HOO for us!!!! It's too bad Canadian tv can't afford to produce a show like Firefly on their own. I wonder if they'll show the eps in widescreen format?

Hmmm, so it is. I don't think it's a Canadian company alone though. I was thinking of the inevitable cancellation of Due South once it was dropped by CBS. Canadian produced tv relies heavily on government grants and after the announcement just a few months past that there will be less money available, I think fewer shows are being produced. But hopefully someone (with money and a production company eager to make its mark) will notice when Firefly has tremendous success on Space and everywhere else it airs.

I went the web site and not only is it listed in the re-run section of show listings. If you go to September in the calendar. You can find it listed. They are doing Serenity in two parts.

It is real now. I can't wait for September.
