Something I have to say about the Bedlam Bards... awesome Firefly related CD is coming out soon by them. For those that don't know, this is the same people who wrote the now famous (at least amongst Browncoats) "Ballad of Joss"

At this link, you can hear 30-sec clips on most of the songs.
Don't mean to be so promote-y, since I don't even know these people, but their music is really worth listening and captures the Firefly spirit a lot. I mean, who doesn't love listening to "The Ballad of Joss"?

The excerpts they played on The Signal were enough to convince me it's worth getting. The instrumentals are very good, especially the workings of existing songs like River's Dance and the "wedding dance" from Our Mrs Reynolds. And the Rock Garden one sounds good too.

Yes, I'm happy about the "Wedding Dance" one, especially since we didn't get that on the Firefly album.

The songs that they have availble are awesome!
I gots a Serenity DVD today!! Picked it up with BSG season 2 and got 10 bucks off! Coupons on combos are always the best way to get viewers, i think.
Now its time to watch the extras, and see the goodness that is the DVD!

I met the Bedlam Bards as I mentioned previously and they're shiny people. Cedric's great! So, definitely worth promoting! They're great to watch, their songs are fun and all audience participation-y (yeah, so NOT a word. Oh well.)
I'll have to listen to that later.
I have been living primarily off Christmas cookies the last few days and I can feel it. Bit nauseous today. But I just can't say no to Christmas cookies! *sigh*
