Don't forget to call him "Sir." He likes that.

I just read this from the Toronto Star, who had an interview with Joss Whedon.

This is from today, Dec 19th.

He hasn't given up all hope, and neither should we. Let's keep this hope going!

Browncoats are fans of Firefly and its movie offspring, Serenity.

The name is taken from the losing side (not necessarily the wrong side) of the Unification war -- see Serenity (the pilot episode), The Train Job, etc.

The short answer ? Browncoats = Firefly/Serenity fans.

Clearly, many Buffy/Angel fans came to love Firefly as well, but not all. One may be a fan of Joss Whedon, and not 'get' Firefly, and thus are not Browncoats. ( Hey, I've seen it happen, honest ) Conversely, there are plenty of Browncoats who fell in love w/ Firefly on its own, maybe never having watched Buffy/Angel at all.

Well...

hate to say, "I told you so" but...

"I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!"

Now if only the naysayers would read this too...

Nah, it'd be too much work for 'em. Plus it'd require using some brain muscles that are probably atrophied by now, due to stubbornnes... So yea.

As the Shadow native would say, "We're good, people."

P.S.: And please notice he said, "all the actors". As in ALL the actors.

That gave me a happy. No, really. It did.

With the DVD sales, we're gonna be "Big Damn Heroes," "Ain't we just."

Don't forget to call him "Sir." He likes that.

Indeed

On topic: That comment of Joss sounds interesting. I think we have far better chances at this point than www.trekunited.com* ever had.

*Huge fan campaign to revive the Star Trek franchise (for those who didn't know)
