Yeah, definite warrior woman in Alien/Aliens. Whenever I think Sigorny Weaver, though, I think Ghost Busters.
How about Lucy Lawless as Zoe and Johnny Depp as Simon?

Maybe you'll knock this one right down, but I'll put it out here anyway. What about Neil Patrick Harris as Simon? I think he could capture that awkwardness that Sean Maher does so well.

I love the cast as it is, but if they needed a new Shepherd Book, I could be encouraged to volunteer.
Of course, one could contemplate Dennis Hopper as Book.

I could also see Matt Damon as Simon, all these picks are good actors. They each would bring something abit different to the character though.

Its actually pretty impressive what a fine group of actors we have on Firefly. Some fine actors have been mentioned on this thread, but very few of them would I consider as alternatives for FF characters. The original cast has done some wonderful work.
