Somebody comes on her begging for money for a project, uses a stars name to promote it and then, when questioned, says OOPPPSS...guess we don't have the star...and it is MY FAULT?

Well, first of all I don't recall pointing fingers at anyone here, I simply made the statement that this guy had a dream and wanted to realize it. He didn't require anyone to help, he simply asked, not begged, asked. He thought that he had Adam, but then came to the realization that the deal fell through. Stuff like this happens all the time when trying to work hard for a dream. Did he jump the gun with announcing his news, probably, but the man was excited. And he did the honorable thing and removed the thread. Just leave it be at this point.
And just to let you know that there are no hard feelings, Companion, this goes to you

While I respect his dream and hope everything turns out well with him, I do got to somewhat agree with the naysayers in this thread. While I wouldn't go out on a limb to try and prosecute the guy, he did in a way try and get us involved with the offering by claiming he can give a selected few the chance to meet Adam Baldwin and that he would be in the film. I think he should have held off posting something like this until he was sure that the deal was made. That's just bad business in my opinion, jumping the gun like that to get someone involved in something that might not even happen.

You really should stop embarassing yourself publicly. You had no case to begin with and now you're only making it worse. You're in Germany right? Have you ever been to the US? And if not, how do you know it exists? Maybe that whole country is just make believe.
Honestly, you post that you're 22 but your maturity level seems about 10 years behind that.
Isn't he nice? Someone here lost his sense for reality and it isn't me. If you want to offend me have at least the balls to do it in public especially if it's way below the belt like this one.

Well Mr. Twitchell, you are wrong. I didn't start this thread, I didn't tell everyone that Adam Baldwin will be on the set and I didn't take this on a personal level like you have done with these insults.
Now everybody can form his view on this. I posted this because I have my pride and this guy stepped over a line here.

I think he was being polite in wanting to take your conversation to a more private arena, rather than keep this thing up in public...most people don't like to discuss such matters in public.
Look folks, leave it alone...the more you bring this up and bash this guy, the more it does show what maturity level you indeed have. Let it rest. He jumped the gun, he admitted he did, he removed the thread. It's all over and we can go about our business of talking about the show.

Ya...you got a point. Polite was not the right word to use, as it is not polite to put people down at all, in either a public or private place. Perhaps he just needed to vent and didn't want to do so publicly.

1st, I'd like to like to say a big "Good work all!" to my skeptical browncoats.
2nd, how do you suggest that Adam will have lunch with people or whatever was offered here when you don't even actually have confirmation he'll work on the film? That seems like a huge jump IMO.
3rd, I just noticed the name Achilles. You think that's in the Greek hero sense or in the evil genius manipulator from the Ender series by Orson Scott Card. Maybe this guy was so arrogant that he even used a name to show that he considered himself a master at manipulating others to benefit himself.
Just sayin.
