"Bones" script writers give Firefly a nod

Was watching the show "Bones" (yay!) on Fox (blah) starring David Boreanez,whose name I'm sure I spelled wrong. During the show, two of the characters were discussing how things don't always do what you tell them to. One of the examples was something along the lines of "like how I tell you to take out the trash but instead you watch Firefly reruns." Just thought that was neat.

I NEVER watch this show, but I got home today at 8:30 and needed a break...and I still missed out! Was it in the first half of the show? I would have completely freaked out! Man...

Yeah, I almost missed it too but the hubby was TiVOing it so he paused it for me. I starting watching it out of loyalty since I watched "Buffy" and "Angel" but it's actually a pretty good show in its own right. I'm glad they mentioned Firefly though. Wonder who thought up that part of the script.

I saw it, too. Surprised the heck out of me. I wish I'd remembered to catch the name of the writer. He/she is obviously a Browncoat.

Well, I went to the official website and couldn't find the writer, or I would have sent him or her an appreciative email. However, they DO have a weekly poll asking fans what their favorite quote from the last episode was. I'll keep an eye on it and if the Firefly quote is an option I'll post a link and we can all vote for it!
