Caveman 5 times? I am ashamed to admit that I saw Smokey and the Bandit more than twice. (Shudder)

Hey, I was 8 and I lived in Omaha.

Ask Dr. Science ... he knows more than you do.

Don't be embarrased, M4P. We all had movies like that when we were little. I used to watch Little Monsters over and over and over. The one with Fred Savage (who I had a HUGE crush on when I was, like 10).

Somehow Fred Savage never did it for me. I think it was that Y chromsone, though I can't really be certain. Hey I have to go to the doctor, so I'll be back later. Be eloquent.

I know! Hence the crush.
Hey, I'm nearing 30 and I still ask as silly and foolish as I please. I refuse to grow up. I'll be responsible and pay my bills and show up for work on time and whatnot, but that is NOT going to stop me from enjoying life. I build sandcastles and snowmen and blow bubbles and drink chocolate milk and play hopscotch. I hope I'll still do those things when I'm 60.

Haken came to our little NCBDMPP? I missed that too. I brought a couple from my gaming group who were browncoats, and didn't feel right abandoning them to meet everyone from the board. They looked a little scared. I was happy to finally meet Static and GreyJedi and TheRealMe.
Shakes head: Haken, who runs this beautiful site from Hawaii, Came to NC for the premire?? Hope he had a good time.
On the SCA: had some good times there, never did any real fighting, though I did do some training for fencing and a little for combat. Unfortunately the arrows are(or were) hollow tubes and don't move very fast. You can(could) sidestep incoming arrows. Unfortunately the closer you got to real arrows, the closer you got to unsafe. I kinda miss it, but don't know where I'd find the time.

You sat next to Haken!?!? *swoon*
Yeah, or at least that's who I think it was. He was the dude in the tux who gave us all that little speech at the beginning of the show.

I did try to go around and meet as many people as I could, but I was a bit busy, as I was staff and was running interference for Ash (XandlerLHarris, or shiny Shindig goddess who arranged the whole weekend.)
Eh, don't feel too bad about not meeting me. I wouldn't have known who anyone was anyway.

That was a great night, though, wasn't it? I hope we'll do another one when we get our sequel!
That it was. You know what would be great? If we had special anniversary screenings every 5 years or so. Being the stubborn fans that we are, we could probably raise the cash for multiple theatrical runs. Quixotic, I know, but I can dream, can't I?
