We're also looking forward to the fireworks.

Also a quick recommendation for those who yearn for intelligent TV. I just found the first 2 episodes of season 2 for the HBO series
'the Wire'. If you can, find it. This is some seriously good TV. Not in the same vein as FF at all but smart with a capital S.

Where are on the west coast are you? I heard yesterday that the Vancouver fireworks are canceled because they couldn't get their act together or something.

Vancouver's fireworks were cancelled because they expected too many people to show up at Canada Place and wreak havoc.

And then they expect to be able to host the Gorram Olympics.

Ah, Victoria. My home town. How I miss it.

I moved out to Vancouver in '96 after graduating from UVic because this is where the jobs are. I hope to move back someday....

On another note: how about those Olymipcs?!
