Best Offers! What a load! It has infected my computer via cookies, and cannot be un-installed!!
When I delete the infected cookies, they just slip in again to annoy me; and the 'un-install devise' they tell you to use when you go to their site doesn't work!!!

Beware Best Offers!!!

Anyone have, and successfully get rid of this problem?

Since I posted that I found the answer: install Opera as your browser, it's free, and repels best offers crap. Also, try searching files and folders (including sub-folders) for 'boncpar' and delete it, it's best offers' program name.

Good luck.

Try Bazooka Spyware scanner. It usually catches the nasties better than most other scanners. But it does not remove them for you. Instead it gives you information on how to remove the software yourself. Chances are there is a little startup program running hidden in your registry.

Some anti-spyware software might help. Try:

http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx

Using Opera or Firefox instead of IE helps too. I'd advise everyone to avoid using IE at all until microsoft releases a fix for the extremely critical vulnerability currently being exploited in the wild by hackers: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/12/01/ie_exploit_trojan/

Have you tryed "Spybot - Search & Destroy"? Its a free program that gets rid of stuff like that. It makes a good compaion to the Lavasoft Adaware.

You can also switch over to Mac and leave the vulnerable Wintel platform behind forever.

We have spybot, and it couldn't blast the best offers program out of my 'puter. Just not using Internet Explorer seems to be working.
