Late start today, good to see things active. Interesting topic.
Places I think I'd like to visit: UK (spent a couple hours in an airport there, doesn't count) All the folk from there I've met on-line seem great, and all the best music comes from there. Myan Ruins (always interested) Japan (cause, wow)
Places I'd like to return to: Holland.
Fictional place I'd like to live: A home near all my friends with portals in the basement to Harlaam, Holland; The Safe House in Milwaukee, and Disney World(it's hard to not have fun there).

NOw that I'm done being a smartass, you just do it like you'd do any other link. find somewheres to host the file (imageshack, etc.) and just paste the URL to it as though you were gonna link it to someone. Voila, it just decides to show up as an image.
As for submitting it to Haken, how might I go about doing so?
I passed the request along to Amiton, who has been in tag and is helpping Haken Admin the site.

Simple. Victoria, B.C. @ Curious Comics. If I could I would live there. I know it sounds kinda silly and not as exotic as Egypt but Victoria is Beautiful and I could stroll down to that great hotdog vendor across the road from the Empress and just watch the people stroll past.

AS for actually answering the pressing question that has been brought forth... (I actually intended to do that on my last post, but absent-mindeness and work-like duties prevented it)
If I were to visit somewhere here in the states, it would have to be L.A. My friends and I joke we live in L.A. (that's Louisville Area for us,) but I'd love to see just how that city runs. Knowing my luck though, I'd probably get myself murdered.
If I were to go somewhere abroad, it would be a toss up. The Netherlands, or Japan. I think Netherlands would win, because I at least know someone there, and between my knowledge of English and French, I might actually be able to communicate. But Japan is just so mysterious, I'd like to just have the chance to stroll through the street markets there.
Somewhere non-existant? Lots of choices here. I'd say travellingback in time and spending a couple of years in knight training in the middle ages would be super, but I'd just take all our modern illnesses back with me and kill every living thing... that would be not so nice.
Serenity, on the other hand... spend a couple months sailing with the crew, helping them be bad guys (shiny!) would be super cool. Maybe Jayne would let me fire off a couple rounds with VEra :)
I have to say though, I like the idea of DS9 now that you guys bring it up. I never did get why so many people were turned off from that show. I think it was the best Trek show ever. I'd still pick our little Firefly over ds9 any day, though.

Netherlands and Japan are two of my choices as well. I've been to the Netherlands, all you need is English. Everyone there takes 7 years of English in school. They also seem to be happy to get a chance to practice it with us foreign folk and will attempt to teach you some Dutch, as opposed to other places that get offended that you would dare visit without knowing the language.
Having not been to Japan, I can't say how they are there, But from what I've heard, likely similar in manner to Netherlands. One funny thing about the Dutch, from my limited time there, the People tend towards the tall, yet the cars are getting smaller all the time. Limited real estate doesn't provide the chance to expand roads, so the cars stay small. You'll see things smaller than a VW Bug stop and a 7 footer get out. More odd than funny. They, of course, rely primarily on Bike and Rail. Of course Holland also is known for it's lieneancy on certain things. Adult stores are common and have no stigma attached as they tend to here. No blacked out windows, you can walk down the street and look at all the various toys in the window. Also the "coffee houses" allow the purchase and use on site(removing it from the purchase site is still illegal from what I understand) of MJ. On the street where I stayed for about 2 weeks, there was an Adult shop, a coffee house, and a record shop for rave DJs all within two blocks. (Sex, Drugs, Rock and Roll) I found the image amusing. I, of course, only visited the record shop. But they didn't have any Marillion *sniff*.

I've been there. Victoria's a beautiful town (city? town?). I love that vague Native American vibe the town gives off. After spending a creepy night in Vancouver (homeless people, old people, long story), Victoria was just breathtaking. I'd love to visit there again.
