Don't get too excited about "Keen Eddie." The show is ending in late July. After the initial run, there will be several unseen episodes left in the can.

I'm trying not to get to into Keen Eddie since Fox has been so stupid in the past.

Anybody know if '24' is coming back? They left us with a cliffhanger and I wanted to see how it panned out. I was also hoping that they would give his Daughter an intelligent story line, for a change. I mean, how many crazy things can she get into? Hopefully Fox will leave the show mostly alone.

I stopped watching 24 (the only other show I really considered "worth watching" on TV) when I heard Firefly had been cancelled. I wasn't going to waste another single minute of my time on anything Fox airs, since it's a proven fact they'll just cancel it when I start getting into it anyway. (Titus, Space:Above and Beyond, et al)

There will be a season 3 of 24. What is unknown is if the president died, and if that actor is returning. Keifer is returning for sure.

[Fox Network entertainment president Gail] Berman said "24" was the fifth-highest rated program on television, and announced that Fox would renew the program for a third season. "By making the pickup now, we can give the producers ample time to go complete the course of the season, and plant the seeds for the next one," she said. Ms. Berman said the show would retain its 24-hour concept, but declined to confirm if series star Keifer Sutherland would return. "That could potentially give away a story line, and I'm not into doing that," she said.

And here are some 24 season 3 rumors:

We may have seen the last of Sherry Palmer in 24, according to Zap2It.

The President's former wife, was seen being handcuffed and taken away at the end of last season, having played a pivotal role in the conclusion to the immediate storyline.

That image could be the last we see of her, following the news that her contract hasn't been renewed for season three, which begins this October on FOX.

The network has refused to comment on the contractual status of any star other then Keifer Sutherland, in order to maintain "storyline secrecy." A spokesmain pointed out that her lack of renewal doesn't mean she won't feature in season three, however -- Sarah Clarke, better known as Nina Myers, was in a similar bind last season but still showed up in several episodes as a guest star.

Thanks Succatash, you rock, as always. Well, at least Fox is keeping something intelligent on air. The only thing that really brings down the series is the daughter's story lines.

Anyway, Scotti keep your chin up man. Fox only really has it out for Sci-fi programming. Fox will only get an hour of my time per week next year.

Actually, I have to beg to differ. Titus was the funniest show on TV in a long time, and they screwed with his scheduling so much, you couldn't HELP but wonder if they had it out for him...

I look at that line-up and just say, "Why?"

We are all so sick of non-reality "Reality". I didn't follow 24. Sorry. Glad I'm working overtime so I can afford a DVD player and the DVD series when it comes out.

till then I I say.......

River: “You're afraid we're going to run out of (decent TV). That we'll die gasping (for Firefly). But we won't. That's not going to happen. We'll freeze to death first.”

Mal: “Mercy is the mark of a great man. (stabs Atherton) Guess I'm just a good one. (stabs Atherton again) Well, I'm alright.”

Jake, I have to break you of the notion that "reality proamming" is anything but t&a

Some shows appear to be around just to strictly gross out the general public, but it *would* appear that the vast majority of "reality" TV is basically T&A.

'Course, now is seems that Fox appears to have legalized prostitution by way of "Paradise Hotel"
