I put $20 in today. I'll put more toward the goal next week. I think Captain tight pants would like to have the coat as a souvenir and if we don't win at least the money goes to a good cause.

Hey Artcat!

I got the mailing tube today. The endcap on the tube apparently fell off and was lost but the contents seem to have arrived in great shape anyway.

It's going on my truck this weekend. I'll send you a pic once it's on.

Yah, the paper clip held the instructions just fine.

It's sitting under a pile of books at the moment flattening out for tomorrow.

its about time. 'taint right to complain their not getting enough money and then make money off of their show/movie w/ unlicenced products and not give them a percentage of profits. unlicenced stuff is cool, i just feel guilty when i buy it again and again

"That's why I never kiss 'em on the mouth."

Actually,
most of the money made by my website goes right back to universal and fox, i saw the movie 9 times, i have 3 dvd's preordered and I have two boxsets, a visual companion and all 9 comics and i bought additional comics and gave those as gifts, and the serenity soundtrack as soon as I have some extra cash I will be buying the firefly soundtrack.
I have given decals to each of the cast members ( well gave them to Summer when I met her to distribute) i gave her enough for cast and some crew to show my appreciation for what they did.
I use the decals to promote serenity and firefly its a gueerilla marketing tactic like all the brwoncoat vendors, its a way to get firefly and serenity noticed.
and yes I think its a great thing that browncoat stores are stepping forward to donate to operation browncoat and I encourage more to step forward
