My 1 year old son has rather serious and extensive allergies to food. For some unknown reason, he does WAY better at beaches in South America. I picked Peru because it is cheap and relatively safe (all is relative). Just here for a few months until he heals up some. I apologize for hijacking the thread.

have some pretty serious allergies too. (wistfully:) Can I join you? Not to make light (ahem!) of your son's illness- my daughter, bless her heart, is seriously neurologically compromised. So... Peru it is. Sounds shiny to me. I hope your boy does better soon.
