I loved the little clips of Summer during all the "SUMMER!" bits. Its from the point when she looks from the pc screens to Mal and says "Miranda" well she keeps winking and pulling all these funny faces. Its great!
Yeah I loved the whole "Put Book in the centre he's our friend and we should honur him."

it was more funny because of the music they kept cutting to every time they showed the slow arse rever ship!
i have a feeling a lot of what alan said may be cut out of dvd version! naughty boy!

Okay, I'm going to do it in spoiler space because I'm sure some are going to show up on the DVD and you should want to see them on that first:

Okay, pretty much everyone gets a good feature apart from Ron (who as a genius makes no mistakes) and Adam (who as a genius makes no mistakes except for when his gun fails him).
Nathan:
He's clumsy. He walks into a tree (in a deleted scene!). He drops the wrench Kaylee throws him. Twice. He fumbles the ship's comm. The pebble he was going to throw while talking to Book... yup, he dropped that too. He tried to climb up the fence ("Hard to get to?") and failed. He also blew a few of his lines. "Serenity is up..mumbley mumble...mmmmm... bumbbley... hang a left."
However. He also gets to kick ass. There's the aforementioned TRAP! Then he gets to redo his big speech. "Simon, you and Zoe strap five bodies to the front of the ship." "Are you insane?" "I want Book front and centre. He was our friend, we should honour him. Kaylee, find that little kid that's taking a dirt nap with Jesus, we're going to need a hood ornament."
Alan: We get to see a little behind the scenes stuff with him moustachioed up again (Gina also featured in one shot, looking beaten up. Nathan said these were from their 'custody records' that the Operative saw.) Then we had an extended take right after the "That's a negative, clean getaway" line. "We'll have atmo in six minutes. *pause* Then I'm going to tap that ass. Oh yeah, I'm going in there. It's maybe going to leave a stain. I'm going to draw back those meat curtains... put on a one man show... and an encore." Plus there was his "Fine, you want to fly this thing, go ahead" reaction to Nathan's "Would you pull over?"
Summer: She got a lot of flack. She's apparently the most abrasive member of the cast. She demanded small bangs and big hair. Joss commended her fighting skills that "she must have been training for for at least.. a day. But you tried and that's what's important." She featured in quite a few mistakes (Nathan being unable to do her handcuffs, the camera getting a bit too close in the zoom, the impaled needle falling off her face) but we only saw one mistake when she messed up the line about "I didn't know if you'd send me to sleep again." Sean's reaction was priceless, just a gesture to the camera as if to say "See? That's Summer all over." We also saw many many people (including those brand new to the 'verse) repeating the 'Summer!' catchphrase. She's so lovely.
Sean: He had a few clips completely cracking up after he'd just punched Nathan.
Morena: Blew a few lines, one of them prompting Nathan to gesture 'drunk' and shake his head. Also a fair amount of potty language plus her completely missing her cue when she was supposed to light the flash grenade (quoth Nathan "What aren't you doing?")
Chewitel: Just one as he failed to draw his sword but his very British "Oh shit" was great.
Jewel: Got shouted at Nathan when he blew his lines in the "he could have made them family" speech. "My ship! Don't fucking tell me what to do!"
Gina: Just the flummoxing of the lines but she got to show a few nice dance moves too.
Also featured: the reaver ship being slightly less intimidating; people falling off Serenity, Nathan dancing, Summer pulling faces and more.
It was awesome.
Once you've seen the DVD, then go back and read the above, I have a funny feeling some of it won't make it to mass consumption but I suspect it'll leak out somehow anyway.

It was awesome. And such a shame that they didn't turn up the volume at squared. For those of us at the back it was pretty hard to hear. But I was laughing so hard.
Thanks for typing this stuff so I could finally hear what Nathan said about putting the bodies on the front of Serenity. I wondered why Jewel was laughing so hard and now I know why.

Alan does a mean Don Cheadle impression that I sadly don't believe would end up on the DVD, unless it's unrated. at the end of the gagreel is a caption "For Jewel" and a doll of Nathan as caleb made by Clare Ramsey, Best Costume Winner at several Starfury events, rises up from the bottom of the screen and gives her the finger.
The last time we watched it there was attached to the end "For Nathan" and there was a montage of a LOT of con-goers flipping the bird rounded of by the cast, Sean's picture was hi-larious and at last Jewel's with "Love Jewel"
So much fun!
