Hate to say it but I saw the original in the movie theater and this is just as hokey but of course our Adam is the BDH here(lots of good one liners).

The original had Carol Linley singing a bad song, Shelley Winters swimming and Gene Hackman as the self sacrifing preacher.

I too was laughing more than I should of....it was just your typical C movie...and I'll admit, the only reason I watched it was to see Adam kick a$$...well I guess I really didn't watch it from 10-11 when Greys was on...but I think I can figure out what happened ;)

I loved when that guy said something like "shoot me now" and then AB said "Don't rush me" lmao.

God Bless TiVO....I just TiVO'd it and fast forwarded thru all the parts that didn't have Adam in it cause everybody else was so crappy. It was pretty hokey...too bad cause it really is a good premise for a disaster flick. Still, I think Adam did a really good job, especially considering what he was given to work with as far as scripting goes.

I only saw about a half hour of the middle section.

I can just imagine this as MST3K fodder. Picture this: Joel and the bots are watching it, and every time Adam comes on screen, they all yell, "Jayne!!!"

Ain't about you, Jayne. It's about what they need.

I saw simulcast on CityTV (better reception than NBC), and the anchor/narrator they have pegged it. (Yes, the "coming up next/tonight on 11:00 news/you're watching CityTV" bits are done live, and often have some kinda smartass aside in them).

The last line got it right; this isn't a triumph, it's a bloody mess.

I saw it but didnt like it much, Its not that I want to see Adam only as Jayne but he is much batter in that than this movie, it seem that thay didnt let him act, just say his lines.
Does this msg make sense?Well you now what I mean.

I watched some of it, the last half of it...and it was sad, sad for Adam and sad for all the actor's in it...hubby and I sat laughing all the way through it....it's just one of those projects that should've either never been made or have had a lot more put into it....
Oh well, I guess you live and learn...
but on a better note, it was entertaining...
