Okay, my ruttin' BRAND NEW COMPUTER had another power supply die. 
WTF? Anywho, that combined with the holidays (and cost of gifts to go with) are interferin' with this man equally, so it'll prolly be another 4-5 days (until I next get paid for doin' the job!) before I can get my girl up and runnin' again.
