Update from Angelite re parking:

Quote:

The woman she spoke to just now said if you leave the hotel and come back, you won't be charged again as long as you're back within 24 hours. There's a ticket you have to get to leave, presumably from reception.

I think it was £7 a day at the Heathrow Sheraton, where I stayed last time.

The big question is: do we get breakfast included? At the Sheraton it was £10 to £15 extra for breakfast, which was why I ate at McD's all the damn time...

A buffet breakfast is included. (I just checked the Starfury leaflet.)

It'll probably be held in the same area as the meet and greet. (There's a small room overlooking that area.)

Although, it might be held in another part of the hotel. There's a set of large halls, if you walk up the flight of stairs situated in the front foyer.

I'm almost 100% sure breakfast is included. Certainly I've seen lots of posts over at Starfury advising people to grab what they can there.

Oh, good. It should be better fare than McD's at any rate. But then, so is eating cardboard.

Probably won't see much use over the weekend, though, heh.

...

My God. What the hell are we gonna talk about after?!

Oh, stories and fond memories, of course

Brekkie is included but I have known people to get sick from their breakfasts. The restaurant is much better than the one at the Thistle but the breakfasts are generally shoddy. You can eat as much as you want though which is always a bonus - or at least that has been the case previously.

hmmmm...food
