Yep. There seems to be some confusion about the rate as someone else has mentioned a different rate (£8.00 I think) for conventions. But the real bitch is if they charge you each time you enter - how the hell can they do that?
Now I'm only passing on info as a warning - no doubt anyone who is planning on parking will want to doublecheck this with the hotel themselves.

Just wondering cause I'll be staying there, but if they still require me to pay, despite already forking out for the room, then I'll stamp my feet and say nasty things to the manager. Then I'll run away and hide.

Well I don't think there was ever any question of you having to pay! It's just the thought of having to pay again if you leave and come back again on the same day that really grates. Heck it's bugging me and I'm not even taking a car!
