(Nice tinfoil hat, Xerogravity.)

I agree with those who say insulting FOX will not suddenly persuade them to feel kindly towards us. A corporation, if I may appropriate a quote, "is a body of individuals" who are not the same people. Spouting hate at someone who had nothing to do with matter is churlish.

I do think that FOX is a lost cause. Rather than sending (if I know internet fanbases, angry) emails to FOX, we should petition SciFi to purchase this gem of a show and make some serious money (and win some serious gratitude). They have shown an interest in the show, airing it as they have been doing. Let's convince them that they should go further and make more show/miniseries/what-have-you.

Who has the address for SciFi Channel feedback? No need to give up--FOX isn't all there is.

Anyhow, to those of you writing hatemail to FOX--chill! Instead of annoying FOX with your immaturity, how 'bout impressing SciFi Channel with the maturity, love, and dedication that have taken Firefly so far already?

A: Joss tried to get Sci-Fi to pick up FF back when it was frist killed and Sci-Fi passed on it.
Thay don't want it.

They didn't want it then. Now they've seen it has a following strong enough to bring this poor cancelled show not only to DVD, but to the big screen! I don't suppose you've noticed the continual reruns of Firefly the SciFi Channel has been running? They've noticed it, alright.

Can Sci-fi make a Serenity TV show without Fox's rights?

A: No.. It's in the contract with Universal that thay cannot make a new TV show.

Universal can't make a new TV show--they don't have the rights! Where in the contract does it say another TV show can't be made? This is the first I've heard of any such idea. It sounds wrong--Universal can't control what FOX (or anyone else) does with what it owns.

Showing reruns of a show is one thing, Putting into production a show with a price tag of over 2 millon dollors an ep is another. And that's what it cost four years ago who know's now?
Price was the deal braker then and still is. Thay just don't have that kind of money.

Your not wrong, but I don't think Fox would say no to letting someone make a new show if thay would buy the rights. That's just more free money for them, there's just know one looking to buy. As for a contract that states no another TV show can be made? I have'ent seen one, but I would be shocked if Universal's contract dosen't state no show while we'er making movie's. It would be a huge conflict of interest.

Haha, I actually didn't think about that. In the Serenity RPG book there is a ship called 'Aces and Eights' which inspired my name.

The idea is to email the most influential person of news and media, Rupert murdoch

Don't spam Fox, spam Rupert Murdoch!

Power is where the Influence lies

Q: Why don't we just raise the defensive shields?
A: A superb suggestion with just two major drawbacks. One, we don't have any defensive shields. And two, we don't have any defensive shields. Technically speaking thats only one flaw, but it was such a big one I thought I mention it twice.
