I'm new. I found out about Firefly when I went to see Serenity.

Hi, I am brand new... joined today a couple of minutes ago. Saw Serenity and have been renting Firefly DVDs constantly since. I missed it on TV 'cause we don't have cable and don't get any reception. Anyway .. Why the hell did Fox cancel this!

Hay I been here about a week , love it.
I got in to Firefly by seeing Serenity so I kind of saw it out of order, spoilt the series a bit but I still gained a healthy addiction

I'm new as well. Been on here for maybe 2-3 weeks tops, and discovered Firefly after seeing Serenity. I'm a happily obsessed browncoat now, and so is my dad. We watched all the episodes in one weekend, and I was very impressed. Never before had I developed such a connection to the characters after only one or two episodes. Truely brilliant. And it goes without saying that Serenity was AMAZINGLY AMAZING. Super shiny.
This community is great, btw. Everyone is so nice!

I'm new. Like a lot of people, I saw Serenity first, but I was completely hooked after that. Bought the Firefly DVD, reserved a copy of Serenity and then needed more so I found this site.
