Seriously, it's a real good song, I'd never heard it before. What Firefly scene do you picture in your mind when Oasis sings, "Where were you when we were getting high..." ?
Yeah, anytime I see those "make your Firefly soundtrack threads", Champagne Supernova's always the first song that comes to mind. I know the lyrics may not be related but it does have that atmospheric/spacey kinda sound. As for ideas for the 'Where were you when we were getting high..." scene, I have a lot of them. I'll list them in case they inspire you to do a video.
- the blast off scene in Serenity right after they send off the cry baby
- Jubal Early's floating away scenes at the end of OIS
- is it possible to play the clips in reverse? How 'bout when Early floats down to Serenity from his ship but reversed, so he's going up instead?
- when Serenity undocks the Alliance cruiser in Bushwacked (I hope I'm remembering that scene right)
- the scene where Inara takes off in her shuttle with her client in War Stories
- when Serenity escapes the net in Our Mrs. Reynolds
- when Inara & her shuttle leave after her client's appointment near the beginning of the Serenity pilot
- any of the scenes where Serenity blasts off from the ground or when Serenity lands (but in reverse)
Sorry if I'm getting carried away. I came up with some of these ideas before 'cause I wanted to do a video myself. But I didn't realized how complicated video editing can be so I decided not to. Would be great if you could perform the thrilling heroics.
