Kinda icky, huh?

I have no idea if it really does align completely to the moon or not... it's not a subject I've ever given much thought to, y'know? There's a certain sense to it, of course; most creatures follow a cycle that aligns to some big natural cycle, whether it be night and day, summer and winter, tides, or pub opening hours.

I imagine us poor, bemused fools do have hormonal cycles too... but what the hell are they? It's not like they are as, ah, externally obvious...

We are pretty stupid alot of the time, does that count?

lol!

I remember I dated a guy, years ago, who used to always get really pissy once a month. I remember he used to blame it on me, saying I was pmsing or something and therefore being grouchy and blaming him, but it wasn't me. It was him. He had male PMS or something. Very annoying.

So, I opened up the fridge at work today and there was a huge wedge of jarlsburg cheese in there (amongst other things, there's a banquet tonight) and now all I want is a jarlsburg sandwich with cucumbers and dijon mustard.

Wow, that sandwich sounds really icky. Also, interesting fact in light of your weird random conversation - do you know that women who live in the same house will always menstruate at the same time? It's true.

Note: please check out my "book published" thread. I am a poor, starving writer.

You confused me for a moment, Serenity - I thought the cheese thing was part of the story!

And yes, Queenie, I did know that. No idea why I know that fact and so little else about that subject, though. I think the reason for it is to make men's lives even more difficult around that time than it would already be.

Yet another piece of evidence that tells us God is female.

Hey, Rel, I'm impressed. Not a lot of guys would know that. And I've always kind of thought God was female.

I've heard of that. Not sure where... (Little bits of information like that stick in my brain...) It's gonna bug me all night now..

If you had been at a boarding school where you'd have 60 odd girls living in the same house together, you learn that fact pretty quick.

I do believe the moon cycle has an effect on us but I think it's more a light thing than a gravity thing. Besides... moonlight is very romantic. Fleeting glimpses of nudity in the silvery light...

I'm sorry, what were we talking about?

Not always true. I tend to have roommates with irregular cycles that throw me out of wack. But it does happen, and it's kind of nice. Misery likes company and all that.

A couple of months ago I was at the beach during the full moon. Midnight moonlit walks are VERY romantic.

Unless you're with a group of screaming teenagers.

Yeah, more things on heaven and earth -- and the moon, apparently -- you know the rest.
