There's a full moon tomorrow?
Uh oh.. 
Whenever there's a full moon, I always feeling more creative or have more energy. (Seriously.)
It might sound really weird, but it's like an itch that you can't scratch. I have an urge to draw or write more.... It drives me nuts. 
No idea why it happens. It's probably psychological, I dunno...

I'm starting to get really excited now! There's only 2/3 days left?
I haven't packed all my stuff yet.. I'll need to that today.. There's gonna be something important that I'll forget. (Like my convention pass.)

Looking forward to the on-stage antics of Nathan. (I hear that he's a bit of a joker on stage?)
There's a lot of good guests this year. I've never liked every single guest on a convention line up before.. It's been hard trying to decide who to have my photo taken w/ in the photo session.
Are other Randomites having the same problem?
The opening ceremony will be really special too.
I need a distraction. My brain's gonna explode thinking about it..

It is going to be so hard to survive this weekend knowing you will all be at Serenity 2 having oodles of fun without me. And I'll be here, probably still sniffling.
Oh well, at least HP4 comes out this weekend. Something to look forward to.
And then there's the Crazy Scottish Browncoat Papparazzi. And all the pictures. That's definitely something to look forward to.
Cos-the full moon makes all of us a little crazy, I think. Me, too, only I don't draw or write, but I do get that itchy skin feeling. Loony Loony Luna.
ReallyKaylee-No, I haven't seen that one yet, but I really want to. I've seen previews for it, and Al looks amazing. I just recently saw the Twelfth Night with Helena Bonam Carter as Olivia, though.

With regards to the influence of the full moon (and the other planets), I always remember what the great Patrick Moore once said on the matter: that, in terms of gravity at least, they have about as much influence on us as a passing double decker bus has.

I disagree with that, Rel. I think it does have an effect on us. Well, the moon, not so much the other planets. On account that I am female and my entire infrastructure is woven around the ebb and flow of the tides, the waxing and weaning of the moon, the 28 day cycle of life and death and rebirth.
Remember the time when all us TR females had our periods on the same day? (The day all you men look back on with fear and trembling, I'm sure.) You know what day that was? It was the new moon.

Otherwise... no clue I'm not privy to the secrets of the universe, what makes you think I'd know about something even more complicated than that: how women work?
The new moon thing was probably a coinicidence, though. It's not like *every* female-type person was in the same state that day, was it?

I know I can't speak for all women, or even try to understand us (I can't understand myself!) but there are a few basic truths to womenkind. One is that any normal, healthy women's body, left to its own devices and uninfluenced by outside forces, will set itself in sync with the moon. That is, she will ovulate at the full moon and menstrate at the new moon. It has been common knowledge for millenia that the full moon is the best time to try to conceive.
So it wasn't a coincidence that we all had our periods on the same day, it was just nature.
And men have hormonal cycles, too, you know.
This is a weird topic of conversation.
