Jack - how badly do you want to do a Mal costume?
I ask cause with Serenity's suggestion of getting rid of some excess weight crew members - we could get rid of 2 and my husband Tim has most the Mal costume already-
Browncoat, Guns, Red shirt, Tan pants,
and he is a browncoat board member already---
OTOH if you really want to do this then by all means costume away!

Honestly, I say we flush some of the useless crew and back your husband. I'd like to say I could make the time for the costume, but my new job's an adjustment that might eat up my time and give me precious little to work with it.
I'm more of a Jayne(in appearance) than a Mal, anyway.

Y'know... I agree with Jack. There are crew that we've never heard from. AND, with his goatee, he does almost resemble Jayne.
I don't grow my goatee anymore. My wife hates it and says I look like a thug with it.

I think dramatic pose would work the best. Most Riveresque. The blond is a bit distracting, but who cares? An effort was made.
Jayne scratches his head as he reads Jack's moniker from the previous note, "Android resusit-what?"
"Resusitation," Lexa replies, "Mouth to mouth, as he seems to refer to. He looks like he could be in shock," she observes.
"Oh," Jayne says with his normal drawl, "I think I saw TRM do this once," he points at Jack, "You watch this one, darlin'," he bends down, "He's a weird one.."
It dawns on Serenity almost instantly as Jayne picks up Jack's head, "Jayne, I don't think..."
