Trainspotting -- Funny. Ewen McGregor did a great job. Had to watch it with the subtitles on, though!

Layer Cake -- Rented it because it has Daniel Craig, the new James Bond, and Colm Meaney. Drugs, violence, and the "f word" nonstop -- really enjoyed it anyway!

Pitch Black/Chronicles of Riddick

Seems like people enjoy creating threads about movies.

My suggestion for next thread is...
"Movies That are Movies"

Changing Lanes with Ben Affleck. I so did not want to watch this movie, but hubby rented it when nothing else was on. WAY better than I thought it would be.

SIN CITY. Because I didn't like the source material. I wasn't planning on seeing it but some friends invited me so I did. And I really liked it.

Moulin Rouge is the biggest one for me. I hate musicals and when my mom wanted to see it, I reluctantly agreed to go with. Now it's one of my favorite movies.

Yikes! I forgot to even check! Guess I'll have to rent it again and maybe get hubby to watch, too.

"The Piano" - very powerful storytelling.

MAL "You only gotta scare him."
JAYNE "Pain is scary..."

National Treasure. Completely stupid movie, but I still actually enjoyed it. You gotta love lines like: "He can do whatever he wants. He has unlimited resources. And he's smart."
