My extreme frustration!!!

First off, I downloaded "The Message" a couple of days ago, but put off watching it until after I'd downloaded and watched "Heart of Gold" and "Trash"- gotta watch them in order of course!

Well, I found out last night that it hadn't fully downloaded- I only had about half the file! Grrr... started download again, to watch it tonight... got about 80% this time... really REALLY wanted to watch it this evening.

Third time... started downloading yet again.. my power went out! (thunderstorm) ARRARRRGGHHHH!!! Plus I dumped a few people that were downloading other eps from me. Sorry guys :(

AND because of the storm my satellite TV is wonky. I'm about to the point of resorting to playing solitare (for real, with actual cards), or maybe tiddly-winks?

I'm about ready to go Reaver and start smashing things.

AARGGGGGGTHHHHH!!! Must.... have.... Firefly.... ARRRRGHHH!

If you get on to Kazaa Lite you will find all the episodes I am downloading Heart of Gold at the moment. I found four users with it.

If you use Kazaa Lite instead of Kazaa you will have better results. With Kazaa Lite you can keep clicking "search more" as many times as you want and there is a box you can tick for "auto search more" so it constantly keeps search for the episode, a very useful option.

I have downloaded trash and the message but whenever try to play them all get is the audio. Have yet to get Heart of gold. When try to download them from torrent site get a small file that doesnt play. Any help would be appreciated. In captain dummy talk please.

Go to www.divx-digest and download the SVCD decoder on the software-decoders page. It should work then.

I put "The message" in my kazaa folder. I have a big single file, and two smaller files so you can fit it on a cd in case you need to burn it.

Ok. My tape arrived yesterday too from the Ebay auction. I watched it last night and the quality would be about a 7 or a little higher on a scale of 10.

I have a DVD bitrate compatible encoder card so I can make an exact digital duplicate. The weak link is that I'm starting with VHS, but it was shiny with the gag reel.

I'll make my own SVCD at a 6 mbs bitrate for oversampling. Then software encode it down to 640x480 SVCD and 320x240 VCD.

I would expect these to be up on Kazaa and WinMX early next week.
