nice and hopefully if the dvd sales do aswell as we all hope then its looking quite good for a sequel at the very least(will be keeping my fingers crossed all the same)

Not as good as we might have hoped, but good nonetheless.
Now all we have to do is insure that the DVD sells like CRAZY!!!

Does anyone have a region 2 DVD release date??
If its before Christmas I can buy loads and give them as presents, that would be a great way to boost the figures.
Just hope my Gran can handle reavers.....

Serenity is already number #20 at Amazon, on preorders only. I don't know how common this is but it sounds pretty impressive to me.
I really want Serenity for christmas but I haven't seen a UK release date (not on amazon.co.uk).

Let's say the DVD's sell like crazy and Serenity makes it PAST $80 million faster than expected. Joss has Wonder Woman, that other horror script he just completed, and THEN another Firefly movie? How long do you think that would take? How hard will it be to get the cast together at the same time? And if it takes a long time to get everything going what kind of reception will it get when it's done? There is such as a thing as too long between movies.
Either someone else will have to direct it of Joss's choosing (I doubt it would take him long to write a script if it's not pretty much written already) or Wonder Woman will take a back seat. Now which of those two do you think Universal will go for?
