I know some people hoped for "The Hero of Canton," and it is too bad that is missing, but what is there is a delight.

So, no :(

Ok really, read the first post people!

One of the tracks I was particularly hoping for was the piece playing on Out of Gas as Mal walks through the ship closing everything behind him after the rest of the crew leaves. It is on there, entitled "Captain & Ship," and it is lovely. Practically brings me to tears.

No but a very very similar tune called Spaceball is on track 11, at about the 2:00 mark, after Leaving/Caper (which I think should be labeled Caper/Leaving, or I'm missing the musical flavoring there). You get about 30 sec of it, but it's good.

Also worth listening to is 16, Book's Hair. It has a comical sort of stalking sense to it. I can easily imagine Book's hair poking around the corner.

A cute one is cows (cows in space are so darn funny anyway), and the third one in that track is My Crew, which is another very good one.

Another good and interesting one is Inside the Tam's House. The piano part (River) is fully played, creating a healthy and complete stream of music rather than the previous plonk--pause--plonk theme of broken brained River. Her story is so sad and Summer's acting was so good.

And the previous paragraph was typed while I listened to Captain and Ship...if that tune was any longer I'd cry every time I heard it.

There are so many gems on this one. I'd love to see Greg Edmonson take a couple of these themes and make a full album out of them. He's my hero.
