YES! But only if it had Bruce's "Elvis." I'd say JFK too, but, you know. R.I.P. Ossie Davis. Another character to cross over needs to be Evil Dead's Ash. Or George Romero's zombies.

Personally, I'd want to see Stargate Sg-1 crossovered. Then we'd get to see Mal kick SG-1's collective ass.
Opposites attract. And then they explode.

Well, for one of my choices I'd have to jump on the Doctor Who bandwagon. We'd just have to hope the TARDIS didn't materialize in Jayne's room
or it'd be an awfully short episode.
The other choice is going back aways (yeah, I know, like Doctor Who wasn't
)to the seventies, and going for the extreme silly factor...Quark. Just what they'd need: space garbagemen(dustmen) to go with a botched job. Maybe someone accidentally tossing the haul into a planetary garbage center and out intrepid anti-heroes chasing the Quark crew to get it back. Or not. Dumb, huh?
The crossover I'd most hate to see: Seinfeld. it's the only thing I can think of that would make an ep of Firefly completely unwatchable for me.

i reckon Stargate would be good. SG-1 or Atlantis. One thing that bugs me about those shows is that whenever they go to another world, the people there always speak all stately and proper. Haven't they ever heard of slang?? I could just see the SG-1 team arrive through a Stargate at the Blue Sun headquarters, then be rescued by River, then she could help them get back to Earth using... something or other, and all the while their thinking 'Where the f*** have we ended up!!!!' That would be awesome.
I reckon any crossover with a show that involves magic (eg, buffy, charmed etc.) would just totally mess with the mythology of firelfy.
BSG would be cool. i would love to see Starbuck (from the new one, not the old one) and Zoe get into it though. I could see them hating each other!!!! And Callie (i dunno if thats how you spell it) and Kaylee would spend hours in the engine room, arguing over how to fix the compression coil.
Oh, and Doctor Who would be cool too.

HAHA ! Can you imagine a Star Wars/Firefly crossover??
SOmeone would come on the ship and go *puts on big funny voice* "I am a jedi Knight you must obey me" and then Mal would just shoot him in the face coz he is being a pompous ass.
(don't get me wrong i LOVE SW)

While not a movie or series, I think that Joss could easily bring in Robert Heinlein's "Future History" characters, like Lazarus Long.
The world that Joss came up with for Firefly (frontier planets, like a western) is quite similar to that of RAH's "Future History."

I think the immortals from Highlander could fit into the Firefly universe pretty well.
Aside from the conceit of immortals existing, and the occasional psychic, there really are no other magic/supernatural elements. It would be cool if there were a few people floating around the verse who remembered Earth that was.
The following will only make sence to those fammiliar with Highlander:
I think the rules of the immortal game would have to be changed to suit interplanetary-travel. Spaceships would have to be akin to holy ground, ie. no fighting. Imagine what the effects of a quickening would have upon a space craft. And imagine the horor at the idea of an immortal getting spaced - ala Jubal Early?
