Squee!! Really! I finally got this finished. I'm very proud. It's mostly Jaylee, with flashes of Kaylee/Simon (because what is Jayne if not a big, jealous teddy bear?).
Title: Immune To The Whole Affair.
Characters: Jayne, Kaylee, Simon.
Pairings: Kaylee/Simon, Kaylee/Jayne.
Music: A medley of three songs.

Choosing the songs was the easiest part of that vid. I couldn't choose between either of the Del Amitri songs and then the little 'cowboy' bit of Kasey's song just fit Jayne so well, really, so I had the bright idea to mix 'em - it made it more complicated, but I hate myself that much.
I thought, towards the end, that I'd struggle getting enough proper clips to fit the theme, it turns out there's so many cool Jayne/Kaylee moments, that I even had some left over that never made it in. I was surprised at how many scenes in which Kaylee/Simon were together that Jayne butted in between the two of them. Seriously, they're everywhere. I thought I was only imagining it, but I'm not.

J, that was GORRAM FABULOUS! I almost wet myself outta pure Jaynecentricness. Oh. And Kaylee was kinda nice too. And Simon's bare muscular back, and....frell it. The whole thing was lip-smackin' good. I added it to my favorites so I can use it for...inspiration when I write my 2nd Jaylee.
I wouldn't have thought there'd be a way to get the J and K together in enough scenes to make a good Jaylee vid but you did it IN SPADES. (Drools like Homer with a doughnut.)
It don't stand in place of a good Jacqui fanfiction though, so don't lie to yourself or us, okies?
Now go out there and produce another great vid AND some good NC17. It's your fault, you know. Your public has come to expect it of you so now it's your job to keep us in the style to which we've grown accustomed. Write on, I say!
