Don't exactly know why it popped into my head, so I thought I'd share.
Best Christmas specials ever though. I remember mom & dad making jiffy-pop for the shows.

Ugh. Mid 40s here, might see some snow flurries tomorrow. It dipped just below freezing last night. This afternoon/evening it's just rainy and miserable.

Serenity, yep, it's cold and dreary and it looks like it could snow. I may have to get the fireplace going tonight.
Spinland, I thought it was more the Jiffy-pop reference that dated me. Before microwave popcorn, before even hot-air popcorn poppers there was Jiffy-Pop.

Oh, did I forget to mention I have some "safety restraints" in my closet too? Let's see, there's the plain metal, the leopard spotted, the fluffy pink ones -- uh, sorry, what were we talking about?
Oh yeah, I feel fine too, CMS, although with all these cybergerms floating around, who knows? It's cold and dreary here. Supposed to be -20 next Tues.

Hee! See, I took the Jiffy-Pop so much for granted the reference slipped right past me. I once had an electric burner set too hot and melted right through the bottom of the aluminum "pan." Made quite a stink.
Fluffy pink safety gear? I guess that would make it easier to find in dim lighting.
