oh i am going to buy them read them then leave them at my gym in the magazine rack and hopefully turn some people onto the franchise that way. Or perhaps they could become my Watchtower, no dissrespect towards Jehovah

Joss Whedon (who you know wrote 'Serenity' and created 'Firefly') loves comics,
and had written others:
Astonishing X-men
Fray
Tales of the Vampire
Tales of the Slayer
so naturally he wanted to do comics of our BDHs,
so to bridge the gap of the period after Firefly ended and before the movie 'Serenity'
he wrote (with Brett Matthews) a short series of three comics
they will be reprinted in Jan (or Feb?) as a graphic novel (novella?)
You can buy them still through
midtown comics in Manhattan....
they are published by Dark Horse, and are really wonderful!

cool i shall so go abouts converting people are the graphics licetencious or sound looking enough so that i could leave it in a doctor's office cause i have seen some comics and well they look like what i imagine lite porn would be like

Good idea, though -- I never thought of leaving a Serenity comic in a place like that as "viral marketing".

I can vouch for both the Firefly comics and the Astonishing Xmen stuff. Both are AWESOME!
The comics are a must for movie/series fans, because they bridge the gap! Make sure you dig these up.

Online comic book stores...but I must warn you, the prices have gone up. I reccomend milehighcomics.com since they are well established, but you might have some comic shops etc closer to you so you don't get et up on shipping.
