Mr. Sulu (the Character) isn't gay, he has a daughter and thus probably a wife- as shown in Star Trek: Generations >shutters<. But it is the 23rd centaury so anything is possible...

Here in the 21st century you don't have to have a wife to have a daughter, regardless of your gender. Why would it have to be so in the 23rd? :)

Just sayin'...

Amen to the first part. As to the second:

Has anyone EVER considered that being straight, bi or gay isn't as easy or as tangable as you think?

And you're SO sure about married men and women with kids NOT being gay?

For a cheap easy shot to begin with:

The Tom Cruise rumours.

And for a more solid example, here's food for thought:

My Grandfather had two wives, and with them, had three kids, two boys and a girl.

Later in life, he admitted to his kids that he was bisexual, and had more than a few guy "friends".

He passed away a few years on, but enjoyed his life to the full, and still kept his ties with his family.

A lifetime of one or the other? What a crock.
I say it depends on circumstances and the people you fall in LOVE with.

I'm attracted to whomever. It makes no difference to me. Man or woman...human is preferred.
