I realize that this is a terrible thing that happened and should not be looked upon with humor. That being said, I just could not help but think of Jayne when I read this:
A 29-year-old reserve constable was in a stable condition in an East London hospital on Saturday after plastic surgery to rebuild an ear which was sliced off by a mentally ill man on Friday night, Eastern Cape police said.
